HubSpot’s new feature enables companies to balance complex automations with a wider view.

Journey automation is a new HubSpot feature that was featured at a recent HubSpot Admins user group.

What is journey automation, and how might it help your business?

If you’re a HubSpot user, you probably already spend a lot of time in workflows.

Workflows automate various parts of your marketing, sales, or customer service experience.

But here’s the issue.

Over time, companies end up building a lot of workflows to handle specific parts of their customer journey.

All these workflows can become overwhelming.

You might lose track of all the variables and actions taken.

It’s also hard to zoom out and see how everything works together.

Not to mention report on it.

Journey automations offer one place for marketers to build out marketing strategies, such as lead generation, lead nurturing, or customer re-engagement campaigns.

Like workflows, you can determine enrollment criteria. A new property called ‘Journey Stage’ is available alongside contact properties like ‘Lifecycle Stage.’

You can create a wide range of triggered actions here and track your success metrics.

Currently, journey automations are available to HubSpot Enterprise customers and as a BETA.
