Here are HubSpot’s top 5 new features and updates to help you get the most out of the platform in May 2025.

This month sees tons of AI-related features and helpful tweaks to core HubSpot functionality that should drastically improve team performance and efficiency.

Most come at no additional cost for subscribers. Here we go…!

Start campaigns with AI (BETA, Marketing Pro and up ) – Picture this: enter text or upload a document describing your campaign, and HubSpot can now generate key details like campaign name, goal, audience, and budget and then recommend assets to help you launch it. (details)

Research intent (BETA, all subs + Breeze Intelligence Credits) – Want to know the companies that might be ready to buy before they come to your website? Now it’s possible. The new Research Intent feature enables you to identify high-fit companies that are researching topics relevant to what your business sells on 200,000+ websites. Then you can use HubSpot to engage with contacts at these companies. (details)

HubSpot meetings and call improvements with AI – Speaking of sales, there are THREE new developments for HubSpot calls and meetings. First, there’s the HubSpot Meeting Notetaker BETA so sales conversations on Zoom, Google Meet and MS Teams are automatically recorded, transcribed, and stored in the CRM. The Call Summaries BETA gets an upgrade to provide even more information to reps in a hurry. Finally, HubSpot’s new AI Meeting Assistant BETA gives you a single place to manage meetings with prospects.

Contact email logging rules (BETA, all subs) – Many teams rely on logging 1:1 emails with HubSpot. But net new emails by contacts that aren’t already in your CRM don’t get logged until a HubSpot user responds. Now you have the ability to change that and bring in conversations from new threads. Data model builder and AI-powered data model recommendations – Lately HubSpot has done a lot to improve how companies can manipulate how data is organized. And now, the Data Model Builder BETA enables admins to see all of their objects, create new ones and make association and property decisions in context without having to dig for it. HubSpot also released an AI-powered data model recommendations BETA that proposes custom properties, enabled objects, custom association labels, and pipelines with custom stages for you to review and edit before publishing.
