We recently helped a client implement a ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฆ-๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฉ๐จ๐ญ integration thatโs having a big impact.
Fathom works with Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams meetings.
Some findings so far:
- Itโs a technical snap to integrate Fathom with HubSpot and start bringing in data.
- The best use case is with Discovery and Customer calls, as opposed to shorter Connect calls.If you donโt know the prospect at all, itโs awkward to have a third Fathom participant joining a meeting.Plus on a short call there usually isnโt tons of information worth capturing.
- While the summaries are nice, they typically arenโt 100% accurate for specialized industries.Right now this is not good enough to be sent as a recap to this companyโs prospects without significant editing.
- Related to this point above, the reps still have to track their own notes and takeaways.The delta between the generated tasks and what the rep needs to do is still pretty wide.
- Fathom’s biggest value thus far is for longer, detailed Discovery or Client calls.Having verbatims that you can easily search for, along with links to that exact moment in the meeting, is a big time saver.
