Here are HubSpot’s top 5 new features and updates to help you get the most out of the platform in January 2025.

Happy New Year! Want to kick off 2025 by getting more value out of HubSpot?

Here’s a rundown of our favourite new features this month; most at no additional cost to subscribers.

1

Email index page BETA (all subs) – Want to see all the 1:1 emails your users are sending in one place? The emails index page now offers a centralized location to manage email engagements across senders and recipients, unlocking bulk data management activities such as deleting unwanted emails from your CRM. (details) Another update enables you to set the default address for sent emails, helping those who use multiple email addresses. (details)

2

Create permissions for Contacts, Companies, Deals, Tickets, and Custom Objects (all subs) – Permissions gets even better as now admins can control who can create and/or edit specific object types. This should promote better data hygiene and address concerns about data quality and control by separating permissions. (details)

3

Convert Active to Static Lists on Schedule (Enterprise) – Lists are excellent. But the more you have, the less visibility you have into each one. Plus once an active list meets your campaign needs, you may no longer need that list to continually evaluate new records that meet its criteria. Now you can select when any active list will automatically be converted to a static list. (details)

4

Breeze Intelligence Data Test (All portals) – Last year Breeze Intelligence gave you the ability to enrich Contacts and Companies right in HubSpot. Have you tried it yet? Now you can sample a list of records from your CRM to get a preview of the data you can expect to get enriched from Breeze Intelligence – without buying credits first. (details)

5

Block Free Email Domains from Scheduling Meetings (Sales and Service subs, Starter and up) – For many companies, permitting users to submit forms using a non-work email like gmail or hotmail produces better results. That’s been available for some time, and now this option is extended to Meeting Schedule links. (details)

6

Passkeys (All subs) – Can’t remember passwords? Or are you annoyed by Two-factor authentication (2FA)? Passkeys are a new security standard that can be set up on devices that use biometrics or through a password manager that supports passkeys. And the added bonus –  they are more secure. (details)

These are only five out of 100+ enhancements rolled out in November and December.
